The workshop focuses on key elements and concepts, including standards for best-practice, scenario outcome and objective writing, introduction to scenario design, facilitation methods, debriefing techniques, and evaluation methods. Course participants are provided the opportunity to actively design and facilitate simulation scenarios while incorporating INACSL’s Standards of Best Practicesm.
This course is offered at The Russell Berrie Institute for Simulation Learning at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, New Jersey and is facilitated by ISL staff trained in simulation methodology and associated technology.
Accreditation StatementHoly Name Medical Center is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the New Jersey State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC).
Instructions for Receiving CreditIn order to receive credit for this activity, the participant must complete and submit an evaluation form at the conclusion of this two-day activity.
