Course will help you meet these challenges. T.H.I.N.K., a 2-day course that includes a combination of updated assessment and clinical skills for current nursing practice. The course incorporates skills stations and simulation scenarios for hands-on experience in a realistic setting designed to enhance assessment and critical thinking skills.
This course is offered at The Russell Berrie Institute for Simulation Learning at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, New Jersey and is facilitated by ISL staff trained in simulation methodology and associated technology.

Participants practice the skills required to safely and effectively insert and maintain peripheral intravenous therapies. An IV Insertion Workshop certificate of completion will be awarded after successful completion of the course.

The Obstetrical Simulation course offers the obstetrician, nurse and/or obstetrical team an opportunity to practice responding to high-risk emergency situations using the most up-to-date clinical practice standards. Our life-like technically-advanced mannequins, including SimMom® and maternal fetal simulator, Lucina, can be manipulated to create realistic obstetrical emergencies. Our course qualifies some providers to receive malpractice insurance premium risk management incentives.
