The Obstetrical Simulation course offers the obstetrician, nurse and/or obstetrical team an opportunity to practice responding to high-risk emergency situations using the most up-to-date clinical practice standards. Our life-like technically-advanced mannequins, including SimMom® and maternal fetal simulator, Lucina, can be manipulated to create realistic obstetrical emergencies. Our course qualifies some providers to receive malpractice insurance premium risk management incentives.

High Performance Emergency Response Training helps individuals and teams respond to various emergency situations with confidence and expertise that can only come with deliberate practice. Our expert simulation staff and American Heart Association Certified Instructors conduct fast-paced, hands-on emergency scenarios. The detailed instruction and post-training de-brief by the simulation team will equip participants with the skills necessary to treat patients experiencing a variety of critical events. This is an ideal course for ambulatory surgical centers and practices where in-office procedures are performed.
Specific training elements can be customized based on need. Training can be held at the Institute for Simulation Learning, Holy Name Medical Center, 718 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ or at your facility.
